How long does dermaplaning take to perform?

How often should I have dermaplaning done?

Is there any down-time with dermaplaning?

There is no down-time with dermaplaning skin care procedures. Most people experience a very small amount of redness of the skin for just a few hours after the procedure. However, this is very easily concealed with make-up. A free makeup touch-up is included with the dermaplaning procedure.

In most cases, patients see the medical aesthetician prior to seeing the doctor.

Is it safe to have nonsurgical soft tissue fillers such as Radiesse or Juvederm after having dermaplaning?

Yes. However, similar to Botox® and Dysport®, skin care treatments are always performed first, including dermaplaning.
